I decided to read this book because my vovo loves lighthouses and it sounded good. so it begins the Aldes went on a trip to the beach and stayed in a lighthouse. the mystery is that there was somebody that made Watch, the dog, bark at night. the cook boy made him bark.
Mysteries can be a lot of fun to read. I used to read Hardy Boys myself. And I must say that I like the name "Watch" for a dog. Very appropriate.

ReplyDeleteI used to read The Box Car Children books; they're great fun. And of course, The Hardy Boys are fantastic. I still remember a scene where they got captured. And their captors were going to tie them up, so the boys flexed their muscles as much as they could while they were being bound with rope. And then when they captors left, they relaxed their muscles, and the ropes were then loose. And they were able to escape. I always thought that was awesome. But I think, if that's even plausible, you'd have to be fairly well built. If I did it, the rope wouldn't loosen at all!
